* The frequency of using the Gua Sha can vary based on your skin type, your skin's tolerance and your body's reaction to the treatment. However, you will want to wait until any bruising has healed, which can take a few days to a week.
* We recommend to use it once a week to start, and once you start to familiarize yourself with the Gua Sha and get more comfortable with your techniques, you could aim to use it two to three times per week on your body, and one to two times on your face (Facial skin takes more time to recover, it generally takes 5-7days)
* You could use the Gua Sha for your neck, back, wrist, shoulders, arms, legs anywhere that you need to massage, stretch and relax.
* Please gently wash the Gua Sha after each use to remove any excess oils or serum that may  build up on the stone over time, and please be sure to give it a deeper clean about once a week.

CAUTION:

Gua Sha treatments are not supposed to be painful, but the procedure can cause tiny blood vessels near the surface of the skin called capillaries to burst. This creates a little bit of the red, yellowish-brown, or purple markings, know as Sha. These markings are good & healthy, it is a sign that the body is getting rid of toxins. 
But, if you use it incorrectly, and/or if your Gua Sha is not disinfected, you can end up breaking the skin, and getting an infection. In this case, please STOP using the Gua Sha until your skin is fully recovered. Please see a healthcare professional if necessary.
